Cabramatta, also known as "Little China" is a multicultural suburb located 32 kilometres southwest of Sydney. The population demographics are reflected in the many Vietnamese-owned and Chinese-owned businesses in the area. It also features one of the largest multicultural shopping centres in Australia, attracting many shoppers and visitors who enjoy the East Asia atmosphere and aroma.
There are plenty of food stalls offering a range of Asian goods and produce including exotic fruits, vegetables, meats, Thai herbs, clothing, furnishings and small gifts. You will also find a large number of restaurants with Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese cuisines.
On Sunday 14th -16th of February, Cabramatta will be celebrating the Chinese New Year with a three day festival. The celebration will involve lion dancing, fashion parades, a circus workshop, prawn peeling competitions, stalls and a visit from Humphrey B Bear.

Established in 1888, the Cabramatta Inn is a local meeting place for people from many cultures and countries in the heart of Cabramatta.
The Inn will be celebrating the Chinese New Year by giving away hampers, festive food and the chance to win a gift from the red envelope tree.
