In 1893 Aaron Brown opened a new Hotel on Mount Pleasant (now the suburb of Belmore) - the St George Hotel. He  hoped it would become a meeting place for the ‘Social Elite’ of the surrounding districts, and has now become a well known Belmore institution.

Recently refurbished, the St George Hotel can now accommodate patrons both inside and in the modern outdoor courtyard. There is the locals Bar, Pool Room and Safe Secure Parking at the rear.
