Underbelly star and 2010 CLEO Magazine Bachelor of the Year set to visit The Plantation Hotel

The actor most commonly known for his portrayal of controversial Kings Cross nightclub owner John Ibrahim in ‘Underbelly; The Golden Mile’ Firass Dirani, is set to make a guest appearance at the Plantation Hotel on June 12th.  The lead actor in the 3rd season of the award winning ‘Underbelly’ series for Screentime and the Nine Network was recently voted CLEO Magazine’s Bachelor of the Year for 2010.

Firass, clearly popular with the ladies (and men), was literally ‘mobbed’ by fans, almost causing a riot during his recent visit to Gold Coast hotspot ‘Sin City’.
Firass is the hot name on everyone’s lips and is guaranteed to attract a lot of attention during his visit to the Plantation Hotel. The sexy star will be at the Plantation Hotel for a ‘meet and greet’, taking photos with fans and having a drink with the lucky locals of Coffs Harbour. Being the long weekend, staff at the Plantation Hotel are expecting a full house for Firass’ appearance and recommend guests arrive early to avoid disappointment.

The Plantation Hotel are continually looking at ways in which we can stay abreast popular culture to improve the experience of our local customers when visiting the hotel. Firass’ visit to the hotel has certainly put a spring in the step of our female staff and locals!

In the spirit of the star’s role in the popular television series ‘Underbelly’, the dress up theme of the night is ‘GHETTO FABULOUS GANGSTERS AND GALS’. More glam than Kings Cross, The Plantation Hotel invites patrons to dress up in their finest ‘gangster get-up’ from the roaring 20’s of flapper girls and Al Capone to the contemporary gangster for free entry all night.

The Plantation Hotel will also be serving $3 frozen cocktails to cool sizzling temperatures set by Firass and as always, the Planto it is free entry before 10pm.
