Gordon Tallis Pops Visits The Town Green In For The Breakfast Of Champions Hosted By Star FM's Stacey Morgan

On Friday 7th October as Port Macquarie prepared for the biggest day on their racing calendar, a lucky few enjoyed breakfast with Gordon Tallis and Stacey Morgan at the Town Green Inn.

The Port Cup Breakfast of Champions opened with a full hot breakfast and welcome address by Star FMs Stacey Morgan. Sponsored by Carlton Mid, the Breakfast of Champions provided race goers a great setting for pre race day activity with Gordon Tallis having a chat with guests and providing his race day tips before a coach transported guests out to the race course for a day of punting fun.

With the glorious weather which shone through on the morning of the race, race goers were in for a great day of race activity. Carlton Mid hosted their sponsor’s marquee while fashions on the field provided a pretty insight into the bright spring fashion favourites.

Post race, Port Macquarie town centre came to life with vibrant race goes and the Town Green Inn and Port Macquarie Hotel’s were a hub for activity and live entertainment.

With live acoustic performers, DJs and Bands, both the Port Macquarie Hotel and Town Green Inn saw recorded numbers through the door as revellers partied into the wee hours of the morning.
