NLG HOTEL GROUP GEAR UP FOR 2011 RUGBY WORLD CUP WITH ENTHUSIASM AND OPTIMISM AROUND THE PARK

It is ground zero for the Rugby World Cup and NLG Hotel Group have high expectations around the World Cup for many of their venues after what has proven to be a HUGE year for Rugby.

The mounting interest in the Rugby World Cup has been evident throughout the Tri Nations series with record audiences over recent weeks. With the Rugby World Cup games all taking place in New Zealand, the timing of games is favourable for those Australian venues with a solid rugby culture.

After a successful Super Rugby season with a number of NLG Hotel Group venue’s branded as ‘Official Headquarters of the Waratahs’, the strong rugby influence across NLG’s North Shore and Mid North Coast venues will continue with both the Willoughby Hotel and the Plantation Hotel in Coffs Harbour being branded as ‘Official Heineken World Cup Clubhouses’.

As the Rugby World Cup Opening Ceremony kicks off at 7:30pm this Friday night, followed by host nation New Zealand V Tonga game, so too will NLG Hotel Groups month long World Cup promotional activity including Heineken promotions across all venues and a range of food and beverage promotions across their key venues in Rugby heartlands.

NLG Hotel Group actively support 10 Rugby Clubs around QLD and NSW amongst the circa 100 sporting club sponsorships it engages yearly.
