NLG CLOSE OUT ANOTHER SUCESSFUL SPONSORSHIP YEAR WITH THE CANTERBURY BULLDOGS FINISHING WITH MAD MONDAY CELEBRATIONS AT THE CANTERBURY HOTEL

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have given retiring skipper Andrew Ryan the best possible send off, defeating the Canberra Raiders 36 points to 22 in their final round clash at ANZ Stadium. The day also brought the end to another year of successful partnership with NLG Hotel Group; bringing down the curtains on their 2011 season with Mad Monday at the Canterbury Hotel.
NLG Hotel Group has been a Corporate Partner of the Bulldogs since 2009. With 36 pubs across NSW & QLD, 17 in Sydney’s Western suburbs at locations like St Marys, Lalor Park, Auburn, Lidcombe, Canterbury & Campbelltown, to name a few. The relationship, now at the end of its third year has brought about undeniable synergy for both organisations with the corporate partnership assisting the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the development of their ‘Community Program’, whilst for NLG Hotel Group; the corporate partnership has driven home a major component of their localised marketing strategy.
For customers of the 17 NLG Hotel Group Western Suburbs locations, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs represent an iconic part of their everyday lives. “Local communities really rally behind and are passionate about the Bulldogs who have a longstanding and loyal following in the area” said NLG Hotel Group Marketing Manager, Alistair Flower.
The relationship has brought about many successful activities both at Bulldogs games and NLG Hotel Group venues which ended on a high on Monday 5th September with the Bulldogs Mad Monday Celebrations being held at the Canterbury Hotel. The ‘Rock Star’ theme was met with enthusiasm, with departing skipper Andrew Ryan turned out as Kiss! Canterbury Hotel Venue Manager, Petra Bright (inset with Steve Small at the ambassador’s lounge for Sunday’s last official game) said; “The day is off to a great start with a fantastic turn out and all the guys looking fabulous in their Rock Star outfits. It’s great to have them here at the Canterbury Hotel to celebrate their 2011 season and our successful partnership.”
