NLG RECEIVES 25 FINALIST NOMINATIONS FOR EXCELLENCE

NLG Hotel Group has been nominated for an outstanding 25 awards for this year’s prestigious AHA (Australian Hotels Association) Awards for Excellence.

From its inception in 1993, the AHA (NSW) Awards for Excellence has become the most prestigious awards night within the hospitality industry. Judged by an independent panel of hotel experts, the aim is to recognise the accomplishments of the true hotel leaders throughout NSW, within the hotel and bottle shop categories.

“The recognition enjoyed upon receipt of NLG's 25 awards nominations from its 30 NSW hotels is patent testament to one thing, culture. And it is the custodians of our winning culture, the NLG management team, that rightfully enjoy the associated acclaim.” Said CEO, Andrew Jolliffe.

“In particular I would like to highlight the outstanding performance of the Port Macquarie Hotel, which has attracted 5 finalist nominations; and our flagship gaming hotel the El Cortez, which is nominated for gaming hotel of the year following its recent number 1 ranking in the state's top 200 list.” Said Jolliffe.

The Awards night will be held at the Star City Casino on the 30th November. Awards will be announced by television and radio personality Mikey Robbins in front of approximately 800 hotel industry identities and special guests.
