The finalists for the 2011 Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA) have been announced

In its 18th year, ALIA recognises leading groups, individuals and brands within the on-and off-premise categories that have performed within their categories over the past 12 months.

Once again a record number of votes have been received online and from over 30,000 voting forms distributed in National Liquor News, Australian Hotelier and Bars&Clubs magazines.
NLG Hotel Group have this year, secured 3 finalist nominations with the Bridgeview Hotel for Best Hotel/Bar Food, Eastwood Hotel for Best Gaming Venue and NLG Hotel Group for Best Group Operator.

ALIA 2011, to be held on Wednesday 19 October at Luna Park Sydney, will be co-hosted by Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA), TorchMedia, Intrust Super and Aristocrat.

Once again the MC for the evening will be Larry Emdur and the theme for this year’s awards will be ‘Music’.

The off-premise Liquor Awards and the on-premise Hotel, Bar & Club Awards categories will now be submitted to respective panels of key industry figures who will decide the winners. That data will then be submitted to our official auditor and sponsor, accounting firm Ernst & Young, who will verify all judging forms.

The winners will then be announced at the official Awards ceremony, to be held under the Big Top at Luna Park Sydney on Wednesday 19 October.
